Just Published: “as i see it…”

I see the world as a beautiful place! My new book, “as i see it…”, presents highlights from numerous bodies of work as a thoughtfully organized pictorial. Each collection is narrated with my personal story to share the inspiration behind the creation of the images. Collections include HDR photography from South Beach (Miami), travel photography, nature photography, fashion/beauty photography, and figurative nudes.

This editorial symbolically speaks to our tendency to keep emotions under lock and key; especially when they deviate from societal norms. Low key, film noir lighting was used to set the mood.

Concept: Vintage fashion. The creative direction was to capture a 1960′s vintage editorial. To achieve this look, I took inspiration from Helmut Newton in the selection of models then post processed the images using a process to simulate grainy, high contrast film commonly used in the 1960′s for fashion photography. The images were also processed with a warm black toner to create an effect similar to prints I used to make using Selectol developer.
